ABOUT ME
My name is Tim and I’m an alcoholic. My sobriety date is June 10, 1985. In 2014 we lost our youngest to drugs and alcohol. As I worked through the stages of grief I decided I hadn’t been able to help my own boy but maybe I could help someone else’s. After trying different things we opened Serenity Shack on April 1, 2021.
I had no training nor any experience operating a men’s transitional living home, but I had a ton of experience with AA’s Twelve Steps.
My boy found peace and I found purpose.
God’s hand at work.
